Welcome to Bees Overseas, the site dedicated to followers of Barnet FC across the world.
Bees Overseas is being put together by the International Friends of Barnet - a group of fans in different countries who want to share the activities, hopes, aspirations and experience of the many Barnet fans in all parts of the globe.
Bees Overseas works on the simple principle that everyone in the world deep down wants to support Barnet. Some people don't know it. Others do - but have to live far away. This site tries to help both groups by sharing their views and experiences.
If you think you can help us in any way - if you've got content you'd like to contribute, if you can help us translate some of the pages into other languages whatever it might be - get in touch.
Bees Overseas Contacts: As we try to bring together fans of the glorious black and amber across the globe, we are looking to engage every channel we can. So as of now you can:
Latest updates on Beesoverseas
1) Legends of Underhill. This month's legend is a particular favourite of mine - and it turns out of Reckless as well. On muddy pitches and against some pretty dodgey non-league defenders this guy brought some real class to the Alliance Premier League. Take a bow Mr John Margerrison
2) We've started a new feature - interviews with Bees fans across the globe. We're trying to get a feel for what it's really like to support Barnet From Afar. The interview this month is with our man in South Korea - Will Evans. Read Will's interview here
3) Now we're temporarily (please) out of the Football League and coverage of our exploits is reduced we have tried to give overseas fans an idea of how people are viewing our performances. We've put in place a Player Ratings Leader Board. Each week fans who attend the games are invited to rate each player's performance in a game. You can rate the performances after each match here.
After each match we post all the players' ratings for that game as well as the Man of the Match - based on fans votes. The Leader Board is here

DOD AR CHI GWENYN EN !!!
October in the end wasn't too bad. Looks like the Bees are getting the campaign back on track - 3 draws, 2 wins and progress in the FA Cup.
The Bees Welsh contingent turned out for the game at Hereford. For those hard of Welsh "DOD AR CHI GWENYN EN " - clearly means Come on you Bees in the language of David Stephens. And it loses nothing in the translation.
In the words of Deri Lloyd:
"It was great to meet up with our fellow bee's supporters at Herefords,Egar street, and even better to come away with a 1-0 well deserved victory, that could have and should have been at lot more.
Here is a photo of Barnet's number one Welsh supporter Owain Lloyd and John "VILLAGE" Adkins enjoying the game."
Village's 70th Birthday
As Christmas gets nearer don't forget that there is a big pre-Christmas celebration scheduled for the Hive - the 70th birthday of a certain John "Village" Adkins. To celebrate, Village will be having a party at the Hive on Sunday 8th December from 07.30pm onwards. All are welcome
Visitors from Norway
As well as the away following from Wales, representatives of the huge and famous Barnet Fan Club of Norway attended the home game against Wrexham.
"Hi John, many thanks for the great hospitality we received last Sunday when we enjoyed the Barnet vs. Wrexham match! We had a great time at the Hive and hope to be back soon!
Best regards from Norway!"

International Supporters Day
The by now traditional Barnet International Supporters Day is scheduled for March 22nd 2014 - the day of the home game v Hereford.
We'll bring you more news of this - but we are aiming to hold the first "Village" Cup international football tournament on that day - as well as the usual festivities and -hopefully - 3 points for the visiting overseas fans to enjoy.
